Until Shiloh come

Gen 49:10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.

More understanding on Haggais prophecy concerning the glory of the later house.

“When Shiloh come” is refering to the time when the Lord restores the house of Israel to the land as it was at the time of Joshua and Caleb. When israel entered into land, the rest of the Lord.

Jos 16:4 So the children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance.
Jos 17:17 And Joshua spake unto the house of Joseph, even to Ephraim and to Manasseh, saying, Thou art a great people, and hast great power: thou shalt not have one lot only: Jos 17:18 But the mountain shall be thine; for it is a wood, and thou shalt cut it down: and the outgoings of it shall be thine: for thou shalt drive out the Canaanites, though they have iron chariots, and though they be strong.
Jos_18:1 And the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled together at Shiloh, and set up the tabernacle of the congregation there. And the land was subdued before them. Jos 23:1 And it came to pass a long time after that the LORD had given rest unto Israel from all their enemies round about, that Joshua waxed old and stricken in age.

We see Shiloh in reference to the Lord’s glory in the tabernacle at Shiloh. Another dimension to the glory of the Lord as he works and works with his people Israel. Something seems to always go wrong though, terribly wrong:

Psa_78:60 So that he forsook the tabernacle of Shiloh, the tent which he placed among men;
Psa 78:61 And delivered his strength into captivity, and his glory into the enemy’s hand. Psa 78:62 He gave his people over also unto the sword; and was wroth with his inheritance.

God blesses and blesses his people and the always turn to other gods. Shiloh comes is talking about when the Lords glory returns to the tabernacle the same as it does to the latter house as it is compared to the prosperity of Solomons house. by extension Shiloh means prosperity.

1Ki 4:20 Judah and Israel were many, as the sand which is by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking, and making merry. 1Ki 4:21 And Solomon reigned over all kingdoms from the river unto the land of the Philistines, and unto the border of Egypt: they brought presents, and served Solomon all the days of his life. 1Ki 4:22 And Solomon’s provision for one day was thirty measures of fine flour, and threescore measures of meal, 1Ki 4:23 Ten fat oxen, and twenty oxen out of the pastures, and an hundred sheep, beside harts, and roebucks, and fallowdeer, and fatted fowl. 1Ki 4:24 For he had dominion over all the region on this side the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all the kings on this side the river: and he had peace on all sides round about him. 1Ki 4:25 And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Beersheba, all the days of Solomon.

The Glory of the former house:

2Ch_7:2 And the priests could not enter into the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD had filled the LORD’S house. 2Ch_7:3 And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the LORD upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

Hag 2:9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.

This might not mean much to many but those who have followed us on http://www.soundoctrine.org ” Shiloh is huge key word is “until” I’m not sure how this connects but I know it does, Depart Judah and the abomination in Mat 24 when you see the abomination flee Judea.
Some how the abomination of desolation, (it happened to Shiloh) Jer_26:6 Then will I make this house like Shiloh, and will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth. Jer_26:9 Why hast thou prophesied in the name of the LORD, saying, This house shall be like Shiloh, and this city shall be desolate without an inhabitant? And all the people were gathered against Jeremiah in the house of the LORD.

Shiloh has to do with Joseph, Ephraim, the Melkisedek priesthood and the birthright.
Gen 49:22 Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall:
Gen 49:23 The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him:
Gen 49:24 But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:)
Gen 49:25 Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb:
Gen 49:26 The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.

Some how this all connects. Bueller Bueller anyone?

The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
Psa 110:2 The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
Psa 110:3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.
Psa 110:4 The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
Psa 110:5 The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.
Psa 110:6 He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.
Psa 110:7 He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.
