Are you satisfied to live your life for yourself, with no conscience towards your need for Jesus Christ? Are you satisfied to be a nominal ”Christian” being religious but still harboring sin in your soul and life? If this is all you really want, then Jesus will give you over to that. And if your heart is so hard that you can no longer sense the Holy Spirit dealing with your heart, your heart will be sacrificed to some other deception.

“And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God” ~ Revelation 19:17

You don’t ignore the full truth of Jesus Christ without serious consequences.

The “fowls that fly in the midst of heaven” are the evil religious spirits…

If you will recall from previous posts, the vials of wrath poured out in Revelation 16 represent the preaching of the gospel judgments against hypocrisy and sin.

“And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.” ~ Revelation 16:8-9

Why was the fourth vial poured out on the sun?

This judgement is a reversal of what happened in the warning of the fourth trumpet. In the fourth trumpet, all celestial bodies symbolically representing things ordained of God to give light to people, were shown to have been impacted negatively.
