Fanatic for Jesus

Adding a new link. Fanatic for Jesus

Donna has her finger on the pulse of the apostate church and her movements. This is a good site to save and check often (like I do) to track the growing and increasingly blatant departure from sound doctrine. Donna does more research than anyone I know and presents it with no other agenda than a heart for the lost sheep. Thank you Donna.

    Chris; concerning Daniel 9, maybe I can assist you. At Jeremiah 31:31 it reads: “Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah.” So we know it will be a “new covenant.” Same at Isiah 42:6 which says: “I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles.” Hebrews says that it is “a better covenant” and “the everlasting covenant.” It might be helpful to insert a word, so that it reads at Daniel 9:27; “And he shall confirm the [eternal] covenant with many for one week.” Now, if I worked 9 – 5, it would still be reckoned that I worked for a day. The ministry of Jesus lasted for 3 & 1/2 years, which in Daniel would be converted to 3 & 1/2 days. He was reckoned to have ministered for that whole week. After His Resurrection, not only was it clear what the new covenant was to His disciples, but, “many” saw Him for 40 days afterward, while He was yet still on Earth. If there is any doubt, the sister passage to Daniel 9:27; Galatians 3:17; makes it clear who confirmed the covenant, with very similar words: “the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ.” In Daniel it says He “shall confirm” and in Jesus it was fulfilled, and “was confirmed.” Finally, the word covenant does not mean treaty as that aberrant cult tries to tell us. It means testament. That’s where we get the Old & New Testament from. I hope this helps to clear things up.

    Postscript;

    Continuing Daniel 9, there is another aspect that that little cult sells us, that is a lie. The party line is that all of the 69th week is over & that we are now waiting on the full 70th week to occur. Their teaching is an impossibility. No matter how close you get to the midnight hour, even if it’s only a second, you would have to fall within one week or the other. Instead of that rigid formula, wouldn’t it be easier to see that somewhere in the middle of the seventieth week, which would correspond to our Lord’s Earthly ministry, He caused the sacrifice in the Temple to cease, with His perfect sacrifice?
