Ishmael is the father of flesh christianity not Islam

As we continue on our journey to Zion, out of Egypt, out of Sodom, out of Babylon we continue to replace the lies with truth not without much tribulation (hail)
Isa 28:17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.
The “hail” sweeps away the refuge of lies and one of the biggest misconceptions, false doctrines I’ve had the Lord sweep away in my life thus far is one I discovered this week. It came about through interaction between friends as revelation often does. 2 of those friends shared their understanding and do it more clearly than I could hope to myself. The false doctrine God is shedding his light on right now is the idea that the Muslims come from the line of Ishmael. This doctrine like so many before is so deeply ingrained in our minds that I personally never even thought to question it. I always had trouble with why God used Agar as the allegory in Gal chapter 4 and if the Muslims are the line of Ishmael why do their roots really only go back to the 7th century? That never made sense but as so often happens it just gets brushed off.
As we will see in these studies below the seed line of Ishmael represents the flesh minded flesh driven christian church which is separate from the spirit lead, born again body of Christ. The one comment I will make is drawing attention to the poetic irony of the Lord. Brilliant. While today’s professing christian church is so fixated on the “evil muslims” the irony lies in the fact the muslims are actually a type of scapegoat. The fact is the attention rightfully belongs on the flesh driven christian church who are the ones who are “in bondage to Sinai” as Paul taught so clearly in Gal 4. Satans shell game always keeps our attention away from where it should be on the external and away from ourselves, our inward man.

Comments by Bill on the subject:

Interesting bro Chris, I am in the middle of a complete chapter by chapter study on the whole book of Galatians. Much of the book of Galatians is the same teaching as Roman only a little simpler to grasp than Romans. Its much about Paul’s battle against the sacraments of flesh religion and walking after the flesh, which is still raging today…Ishmael is a type and shadow of the flesh, he was born of the will of man, while Isaac a type and shadow of walking in the Spirit, he was born a miracle by the will of God….false religion is of the flesh, under law and is born of the will of man (the church of Thyatira); while the true church is born of the Spirit and under the freedom of grace (the church of Philadelphia). What was foreknown and predestined was the everlasting covenant and Gods’ church, it was predestined unto the salvation of grace, a believer IN HIM is a part of the adoption of election into HIS church, its has been happening in the Spirit since the first day of the church at Pentecost when God began numbering His people as he added to the church daily, Acts ch 2-47. but like Paul, the whole creature groaneth in Romans ch 8, as we still await for the adoption of the full manifestation of the sons of God, at the 2nd coming of Christ 1 John 3-2. 1 Cor. ch. 15. That was the end of the revelation of John and Paul, they knew not any more than the last day.

peace be with you

A second view by Mark Jenkins a deeper look into the metaphor

Yes in the end it’s not about the Muslims,

Hagar

Gen 21:16 And she went, and sat her down over against him a good way off, as it were a bowshot: for she said, Let me not see the death of the child. And she sat over against him, and lift up her voice, and wept.

Gen 21:17 And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is.

Gen 21:18 Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation. {a troop of animals, or a flight of locusts}

Gen 21:19 And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.

Gen 21:20 And God was with the lad; and he grew, and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer. {follow the definitions a snare}

Gen 25:12 Now these are the generations of Ishmael, Abraham’s son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah’s handmaid, bare unto Abraham:

Gen 25:13 And these are the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael,

Nebajoth;

and Kedar,

and Adbeel,

and Mibsam,

Gen 25:14 And Mishma,

and Dumah,

and Massa,

Gen 25:15 Hadar,

and Tema,

Jetur,

Naphish,

and Kedemah:

Gen 25:16 These are the sons of Ishmael, and these are their names, by their towns, and by their castles; twelve princes according to their nations.

Then you move to:

Gen 25:25 And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau.

Gen 25:26 And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau’s heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them.

Esau and the whole birthright issue.

Gen 32:28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.

The 12 tribes as with the opposite of the 12 of Ishmael. Saved – unsaved.

And from the Jesus to today we have the 144k, spritualy and the physical opposite of the 12 which is in bondage. Ishmael.

Mormonism is one of the 12 of Ishmael. And so is Judaism, and every on in between.

Gal 4:22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.

Gal 4:23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.

Gal 4:24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.

Gal 4:25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.

Gal 4:26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

Gal 4:27 For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.

Gal 4:28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.

Gal 4:29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.

Right there are all of the martyrs.

Rev 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

Rev 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

after the flesh persecuted him {the woman riding on the beast}

that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now. {the woman in Rev 12, the bride of Christ.

Rev 12:16 And the earth {the world} helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war {after the flesh persecuted him} with the remnant of her seed, {that was born after the Spirit} which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Look at the persecution of Jesus and Stephen. That went against the flesh, we are born of Abraham, yet they were a child of Ishmael. Then in Rome against Paganism or Creaser. Then the Roman Church in the Inquisitions. And it will be no different in the end, at least on the massive scale as we can see in the past.

Ecc 1:9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. Ecc 1:10 Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.

Cain and Abel is an example. The serpent in the garden and the scorpion in Cain.

In Christ,

Mark

    I totally agree with your take on this, thanks for sharing.

    Then you see more irony when you realize the signature belief among the flesh minded multitudes is the elevation of the nation state of Israel. The bondage to Jerusalem below works out into the physical as a loyalty to the freemasonic counterfeit. Jesus left it desolate but man in his own desires to build and climb is determined to rebuild the desolate place. Clearly in bondage to Jerusalem below.
    Mal_1:4 Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the LORD hath indignation for ever.
    Mat_23:38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.

  3. While I agree with what you are saying here. I do see another level at which the Islamist do reap the results of Ismael. As a man thinks in his heart, so is he, those who live by the Law shall be judged by the Law. Islam very much appears to be an answer to the false doctrine, that the natural born Jews are God’s chosen people. They have changed the scriptures to make Ismael the chosen one, and thus they claim to be the children of Abraham, the promise seed. I believe that the false teaching of dispensationalism feed into this lie and while they hate the natural Jew and Zionism, they bring the judgement of God upon themselves according to the Law. I hope that makes sense.

    Thanks Robert, I actually was coming up with this after the post, mentioned it in the roundtable show. Indeed Islam is in there for sure. So I am wrong in the title of this post, the emphasis on the flesh christian church is really of primary importance as far as addressing the misplaced contempt. The contempt the mainstream christian church has for the muslims would be more appropriately directed to themselves and thier flesh religion.

  5. Yes in the end it’s not about the Muslims, Its all Jesuit smoke and mirrors, Islam is just another piece of the Mother Harlot, Mystery Babylon cult of religions, liken to Judaism, both are of Kabala…Apostate Christianity is the daughter harlot. Ezek 16-43……..Paul’s battle with the Jews in the book of Galatians. If well pull that forward today, as he word transcends time, one has to ask who are the Jews today? It is the church, and Paul would be dealing with apostate Christianity…The real key is their is no more physical anything, there is just believers and unbelievers John 3-18…It’s so simple, were all of one blood and the offspring of God Acts 17-30, and all men are commanded to repent and believe the gospel. All the physical race nonsense is nothing more than smoke and mirrors, and slight of hand..

    peace be with you
