Hos 14:5 I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.
Hos 14:6 His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon.
There is a problem with teaching that the prophecy of the 70 weeks was fulfilled by 70AD. 70 weeks are determined to rebuild the city, and anoint the temple. That doesn’t occur till this happens. Rev 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Rev 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
It did not happen at the cross. The last week is the whole time between the cross and wedding feast. It’s mystical. We have to understand Dan 9:24 the same way we understand Zechariah Zec 4:9 The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you. This prophecy has the same dynamic as Dan 9. Zerubbabel layed the physical foundation as the type of Christ as a king and it shifts forward to the last days when the temple is a spiritual house, new Jerusalem, Joshua and Zerubbabel werethe type and shadow of the royal priesthood, the 2 witnesses. There identity shifts to a spiritual identity. We have to realize one huge fact. Christ was rejected. Because of that the whole thing has to run it’s course until the abomination runs it’s determined course. This is almost impossible to teach today but it’s what is happening here. “To anoint the most Holy” is talking about Christ manifest in his spiritual house,the manifest Sons of God. That hasn’t happened yet, Hosea 14 hasn’t happened yet and it happens in the 70 weeks. The bride of Christ is Israel, “70 weeks are determined upon thy people”
