Isa 11:16 And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.

God refers to Israel as “he”

Jer_50:17 Israel is a scattered sheep; the lions have driven him away: first the king of Assyria hath devoured him; and last this Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath broken his bones.

God has driven “him” away

Dan 7:26 But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.
Dan 7:27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

“the people of the saints of the most High” then it goes on to refer to them as him. This is talking about the Lord and his Christ

Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

“our Lord and his Christ” and “he” When it talks about the Lords return it’s talking about his body of overcomers as one body, one man, he.

This is a key verse in understanding what God is doing. God is using the similitude of israel in the wilderness as he talks about his people today. He refers to Israel as “he” That’s because Israel is Christ, and it’s not just Jesus Christ but Jesus along with his body of saints. That’s what this is teaching and all that goes with it.
